Glendive Community Cancer Fund is a 501 ©(3) non-profit; our mission is:
Emotional and financial support for cancer patients in Glendive and surrounding areas
Our organization was originally established in late 2014 by the members of our local cancer support group because they experienced first hand the financial and emotional burdens that accompany a cancer diagnosis, including unexpected expenses. In doing so, they wanted to provide a simple application that didn’t discriminate against financial status. The criteria is simply a resident in Dawson or a surrounding county with a current cancer diagnosis. Our hope is to alleviate even a small amount of stress for patients and their family members who are burdened with a cancer diagnosis.
